A man with a history of run-ins with law enforcement is facing charges of Harassment and Stalking connected to a previous arrest.
In May of last year, the children of a lawn enforcement officer said a drone flew overhead and came low enough they thought it was going to hit them. Several months later, police arrested 50-year-old Orval Donnie Merriman of Theodosia on drug charges and part of the evidence seized was his phone. Officers received data back from the phone earlier this month and found pictures from the drone of the officer's home. That officer had arrested Merriman on another set of charges in December of 2023.
Merriam is facing felony charges of Harassment and Stalking for this incident and is due for a hearing in Ozark County Circuit Court on June 10.
