An area county jail is without running water causing the inmates to be housed at an alternate facility.
According to a Facebook Post, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department says that the water has been out at their county jail since Saturday and until repairs are made, Sunday in-person visitations will be postponed. The post goes on to say that the department is looking at a free video visit option if needed.
Sheriff Cass Martin tells KY-3 News in Springfield that they hope to have the parts to fix the water issues today or Thursday.
