A three-vehicle crash near Bull Creek takes one life and injures five others.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place on Highway F just after 6:00 Wednesday evening when a vehicle driven by Austin Battles of Georgia crossed the centerline and struck two other vehicles forcing all of the vehicles off the road.
The driver of one of the other vehicles, 45-year-old Jared Thrapp of Forsyth, died at the scene while a passenger in that vehicle, 38-year-old Heather Thrapp sustained serious injuries. The other driver involved, 18-year-old Austin Gard of Branson sustained minor injuries. Three other young passengers in the vehicles sustained minor to moderate injuries. Injured victims were taken to Cox Medical Center Branson and Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
This is the 48th fatality worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2024.
