A one-vehicle crash in Barry County results in a fatality and an injury.
According to the report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Jeep crossed the centerline on Highway 86 in Golden then overcorrected going off the right side of the road and overturned. A passenger in the Jeep, a 74-year-old woman from Shell Knob, died in the crash while the driver, a 45-year-old man from Eagle Rock, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of serious injuries.
This is the 127th fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
