A man in jail for charges against a family member last year now faces more charges for earlier incidents.
According to a new probable cause statement filed by the Boone County Sheriff's Office, 53-year-old Benjamin Woods of Omaha is now facing up to 15 charges of Rape against another family for incidents that began occurring in 2014. During the investigation of the latest incident that occurred last year, investigators discovered incidents of abuse of a female family member which went on for a period of time.
Woods is accused of taken an 11-year-old family member to a creek and making inappropriate comments and suggestions in September of 2025.
Woods has been in the Boone County Detention Center on the original $10,000 Bond and now faces an additional $50,000 Bond for the recently filed charges.
