New Beginnings School of Cosmetology Experiencing Growth and Continues Offering Classes and Services

New Beginnings School of Cosmetology is a "full-service school" that's experiencing growth, according to owner and operator Jerree Winn.

Winn appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss the school. Aesthetics, nail tech and cosmetology classes are offered by New Beginnings, which will celebrate 20 years in business in January. The business has run into a problem.

Even though the school inhabits a new location, Winn said that "we have already run out of room." She described this as "exciting" and added that she wasn't concerned about the size.

"I thought the size was perfect," Winn said. She said the rooms and everything met her business needs. That's not the case now.

The school owner said the aesthetics classroom is already too small. There's no longer room for the class.

Additionally, the school needs more clinic space, and it may even need a new building by next year. A lot of this, Winn revealed, is driven by demand. More people are wanting to enroll in her school.

In fact, Winn can't take in anymore students for the year. "I start a new class every other month, cosmetology class every other month, and this year we don't have any more room, any more openings," she said.

New students can join in February. Winn encouraged people thinking about joining her school to take this year to figure out what education they need and desire so they can prepare.

Winn said she has "good" quality instructors. She herself is a "hands-on" instructor; she attributed her success with the school to those qualities. "I love what I do."

Earlier, the businessowner said the aesthetics program is experiencing growth; a new instructor has teach that class after having experience in medical aesthetics for about 15 years. Winn emphasized that medical aesthetics is a different field from regular aesthetics in that the medical side is more invasive, providing treatments like injections.

Aside from classes, the school accepts appointments and walk-ins. These services are available Wednesday through Saturday.

She encouraged people to take them up on the "free Friday spa facials." Anyone wanting to get one needs to call and schedule one. "Come in, and get pampered and spend a day with us," Winn said.

More information is online, and the school can be reached for classes or appointments at (870) 743-1114. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with Winn is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
