Missing Teen from Arkansas Found Safe in Illinois

A Gassville teen reported missing nearly two months ago has been located.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery tells KTLO that 15-year-old Haley Shell was found safe and unharmed Saturday afternoon in Chicago.

The U.S. Marshals Service and Illinois law enforcement authorities reportedly acted on a tip provided by a citizen, located Shell and took her into protective custody. Sheriff Montgomery says he currently has no specific details to where she was found.

Shell was reported missing after being last seen in Gassville on Oct. 1.
