A major wrestling event is coming to the Creekside Community Center in Harrison on Friday.
The Micro Wrestling Federation Event begins at 7:00 and according to a release from the Federation, will feature two singles matches and several other challenges with wresters under five feet tall.
Matt Bell and Richard Sciarra of Explore Harrison talked about the event during a recent interview on KHOZ's "Around the Table" program. Sciarra said Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson approached them after a friend of his had done a similar event in Russellville. Explore Harrison made the connection with the Micro Wrestling Federation and got the event scheduled for Creekside. Bell said attendees will get not only the wrestling but other acts that will be a part of the event.
Tickets are available online through a link on the Explore Harrison Facebook Page or at the door on Friday with the gates opening at 5:30.
The full interview which also includes information about the first Fridays on the Square Event coming up on April 10 can be found on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
