As the opening of the 2023 Trout Season is just a week away, the Missouri Department of Conservation reminds anglers of an important deadline.
Chris Boyd, Taney County Agent for the Missouri Department of Conservation, talks about the upcoming deadline for 2022 permits in a recent edition of the "At Your Service" Podcast. Boyd says next Tuesday, February 28, is the final day that the 2022 Fishing and Hunting Permits are valid. Boyd says people getting ready for the next round of Fishing and Hunting Seasons, including the March 1st Trout Season Opener, need to get their 2023 permits now either at selected locations throughout the state or online on the Missouri Department of Conservation Website.
Boyd also talks about the current conditions for fishing on area lakes and other outdoor topics on this week's edition of the Conservation Report from the AYS Podcast which can be found on the Branson Podcast Network.
