Many school districts are facing a high number of absences due to illness which is forcing schedule changes.
The Springfield R-12 School District is one of the latest to close due to staff shortages due to illnesses including COVID-19. According to information provided to Ozarks First, Springfield Schools will be closed the rest of the week. Ozark Schools are also closing due to staff shortages.
Among other districts, Clever is assessing the situation day-by-day but is currently going Virtual Learning. The Alpena School District was went Virtual on Tuesday and is doing so again today.
