A man charged with murder in Baxter County pleads not guilty to the charges in Boone County Circuit Court Tuesday.

36-year-old Daniel Robert Adams of rural Mountain Home entered the plea to the charges in connection to the incident earlier this month in which he allegedly was involved in a chasing down a car driven by 30-year-old Phillip Laurie and 24-year-old Danielle Ann Lamphear and causing multiple collisions, the final of which killed Laurie and severely injured Lamphear. Adams and Lamphear were reported to have just broken up and the incident began when she went to Adams' house to get some of his belongings.

Adams is facing charges of 1st Degree Murder and Attempted 1st Degree Murder as well as five other charges in the case. Adams is being held in the Boone County Detention Center because the mother of one of the victims works at the Baxter County Detention Center.

The complete recap of the case can be read with the full story on the KTLO Website.
