A man sustained serious injuries when ejected from an ATV on private property near the Black Oak Amphitheater Sunday morning.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the ATV driven by 58-year-old Steven Hamlet of Springfield was doing donuts on the property when it flipped partially ejecting the passenger, 54-year-old Ronald Partain of Republic, from the vehicle which then landed on him.
Partain was Lifeflighted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
