A man pleads guilty to causing a crash on New Year's Eve 2021 and is heading to prison.
Brian Woltersdorf guilty plea initially entered in October of 2024 was officially accepted on January 3 on charges of DWI with a blood alcohol level equal to or over the legal limit and causing the death of a person. Woltersdorf also will serve time for time on counts of causing injury to other individuals.
The charges stem from the fatal traffic crash that occurred near the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area on Highway 376 when Woltersdorf vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into another vehicle, killing one person and injuring four others.
A complete recap of the case by Jason Wert can be found on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
