A spree of attempted vehicle thefts in Stone County has landed a man in jail.
According to a post on the Stone County Sheriff’s Department Website, 19-year-old David Lee Turner is facing three counts of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle with Intent to Steal.
A post on the department Facebook page states Turner is alleged to have taken a pair of vehicles around Blunk and Gladstone Roads in Galena and ended up crashing both vehicles.
Turner is in the Stone County Jail on a $90,000 Bond.
