A Branson Man is facing charges in conjunction with a shooting incident Tuesday in Branson.
The Branson Police Department in a release posted by the Branson Tri-Lakes News says Eric Michael Boehme is facing one count of 1st Degree Domestic Assault and Armed Criminal Action after the incident that led to the shooting incident at a residence on Aaron Way.
According to statements taken from both Boehme and the unnamed shooting victim, the argument involved money and the possible eviction of Boehme from the residence. Boehme told officers that he felt threatened by his roommate and shot him in self defense. The victim was taken initially to Cox Medical Center Branson with life-threatening injuries and was later airlifted to a Springfield hospital for further treatment.
Boehme was taken into custody on Wednesday and is now in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth.
