The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrests a Hollister man for failure to appear in court in proceedings connected to a 2022 traffic crash that killed one person.
The Highway Patrol Thursday afternoon arrested 34-year-old Kenneth Tillman of Hollister for failure to appear in court for the hearing in connection to the traffic crash death of Caleb Hawley of Hollister.
According to past reporting, the crash occurred in July of 2022 on Highway 160 near Walnut Shade. Tillman lost control of his vehicle and collided head-on with Hawley's vehicle. Hawley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Court documents indicate that Tillman was out on bond with the requirements to report to Missouri Bench Probation Service which he stopped doing in 2024. He had also missed a court date in December which led to the warrant for his arrest.
Tillman is being held without bond in the Taney County Jail.
