The Mayor of Kimberling City says things continue to move forward after several events over the last couple of years.
Bob Fritz, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program Tuesday said that the COVID-19 Pandemic did not have a major impact on the city as most of the businesses in town were able to transition through that period and are continuing to serve both residents and visitors.
Fritz also talked about the transition in the Police Department that saw the previous force quit for various reasons. Fritz said new Police Chief Todd Lemoine has completely re-staffed the department and has been getting out and visiting with community members.
Fritz said the city is ready for a big visitor season including the annual Fireburst event set for July 1.
