A Lakes Area State Representative says Lawmakers in Jefferson City need to focus on getting things done and not worry about their own political futures.
Brad Hudson has served two terms and is running unopposed for a third term in November for the 138th District and he says during an interview on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program that part of this issues that faced the Legislature last session was lawmakers looking to make political points instead of passing legislation.
Hudson says one of the issues with term limits is that office holders are working toward their next position and this past session, especially when it came to the drawing of new legislative maps, the posturing left several potential new laws unpassed.
