Hollister's Downing Street Christmas tree will light up at 6 p.m. tonight, according to a Facebook post by the city.

Our Downing Street Christmas Tree Lighting will officially kick-off the holiday season in Hollister, this Friday, November 7th at 6:00pm. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies as the Hollister Schools and School of the Ozarks Choirs sing. Our special guest, Santa Claus, will join Mayor Long and flip-the-switch to turn on our Christmas lights. Contact City Hall for more information and plan to join us Friday.
