A section of a major highway in Ozark County will be closed today. U.S. Highway 160, west of Theodosia, will be closed from 8AM until 3PM for pipe replacement work.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) says the work to replace a culvert under the road will be done between Lightning Springs Road and Stehle Road west of Theodosia near the Ozark/Taney County line.
Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule.
MODOT says weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
