The Heat Wave for the Lakes Region continues as the Heat Advisories are again in effect for southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas.
Heat Index Readings up to 105 are possible as temperatures continue to approach the 100-degree mark.
Although the Heat Advisory is currently set to expire this evening for the Lakes Region, temperatures are forecast to stay in the upper 90s to around 100 for the next seven days with little to no precipitation in the forecast.
