Harrison Police Talk Back to School

Police Chief Chris Graddy and Lieutenant Michael Toland of the Harrison Police Department join KHOZ’s Around The Table on Friday to discuss safety and school.

Graddy discussed patrol and safety. Graddy said they will be watching the school bus stops. He said it does not matter if there is a stop sign on the bus or not, if a bus stops drivers need to as well. “It happens every year,” Graddy said of drivers not stopping for buses.

Toland highlighted Goblin Drive. He said drivers need to be cautious. He said the biggest traffic issue is Eagle Heights. “You can’t have a cell phone in your hand in a school zone,” he said. Renovations to Goblin Drive are coming soon. Roundabouts are going to be added. “Hopefully that will be something that will improve traffic flow,” Graddy said.
