A woman from Galena has died in a single vehicle crash in near McCord Bend over the weekend.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 43-year-old woman was driving her Jeep on McCord Bend Road just before 9:00 Saturday morning when it crossed the center line. The driver overcorrected and was ejected from the vehicle as it overturned. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 117th Fatality in Traffic Crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
