Forsyth Superintendent Jeff Mingus to Retire at End of School Year

One of the longest serving school superintendents in the Lakes Region has announced his retirement.

Dr. Jeff Mingus announced his retirement at the September meeting of the Forsyth Board of Education. In an interview during MOARK Sports Coverage of a recent Forsyth Football Game, Mingus talked about several of the developments over his 18 years with the district, including the last 12 as superintendent and how the community has bee supportive of the district over those years. 

Mingus will continue with the district until the end of the school year in June of 2026.
