Forsyth School District Voters to Consider No-Tax Increase Bond Issue

The Forsyth School District is asking the voters to allow them to make additions and expansion of school facilities plus begin the process of adding a new program.

School Superintendent Dr. Jeff Mingus, during a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says the $6 million Bond Issue, which would not result in a tax increase for the patrons, would allow the school to address three items, the building of an Early Childhood Center, an Indoor Activity Facility, and the addition of classrooms at the High School.

Mingus said the desire for the district to meet the community needs has led to the development of the early childhood programs which will also aid the district in intergrading young people into the school environment as well as provide indoor facilities for programs both in and out of school which led to the proposal for the activity center.
