The City of Forsyth has a new team member working at City Hall.
According to a letter posted on Facebook by Forsyth Mayor Missi Hesketh, Jim Viebrock assumed the City Administrator's position on July 8. Viebrock has served in government before, serving Greene County as Presiding Commissioner and also spending time in the State House of Representatives. Hesketh states in the letter that Viebrock will spend the early part of his tenure focusing on supervising the city's Finance Department, which is currently in search of a new full-time director.
Hesketh also passed along other City of Forsyth updates in the letter that can be found on the city's Facebook Page.
