Flooding Possible with Rain Moving Through Lakes Region UPDATE

The Missouri portion of the Lakes Region is under a Flood Warning until early Saturday afternoon due to heavy rain that has moved through the region.

UPDATE 10:45
Several roads have been reported closed by the Missouri Department of Transportation Saturday morning due to flooding including Highway 76 east of Branson around Kirbyville and also just south of that location on Highway J. Highway 76 around Flat Creek in Barry County was also closed for a time and there has been flooding reported around the lower campground at Roaring River State Park according to reports submitted to the National Weather Service.

Original Story
The National Weather Service says in their flood statements that around one to three inches of rain has fallen with some low water crossing showing the potential of filling up. While no warning has been issued for northern Arkansas, heavy rain is moving through the region as well.

Most rain will be out of the region by this afternoon with dry weather expected for the rest of the weekend.
