First Responders Busy With Crashes on Sunday

First Responders are kept busy Sunday working traffic crashes in the Lakes Region.

Around 6:45 Sunday morning, a rear end collision at the Highway 76-265 intersection send both drivers to Cox Medical Center Branson with minor injuries according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Report.

The Highway Patrol also worked an accident south of Spokane in Christian County on Highway 160 just after 1:00 pm when a vehicle attempted to make a u turn in front of another vehicle which caused the collision. The driver and passenger in the vehicle making the u turn, Jonathan and Amanda Shull of Ozark, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. Two people from Sullivan in the other vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were also taken to Cox South. 

Another accident at the Highway 13-76 intersection in Branson West was worked by Branson West Police and the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, which in a post on the department's Facebook Page resulted in an injury to one person who was taken to Merch Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
