Two firefighters are injured battling a blaze Saturday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post from the Forsyth Fire Department, they responded to a structure fire around 12:45 on Tulsa Ave. The extent of the fire led to a second alarm being dispatched.
While battling the blaze, two firefighters sustained electrical shock injuries and were transported by Taney County Ambulance to Cox Hospital. They are reported to be in stable condition.
Firefighters spent most of the afternoon battling the fire and were assisted on scene by Central and Western Taney County Fire, the Forsyth Police Department, Taney County Sheriff’s Office, the Red Cross, and Liberty Electric.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
