First responders fight a fire in Kimberling City then later an emergency vehicle is involved in a traffic crash. 

According to posts from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District and Kimberling City Police Department, a structure fire around Bluebird and Big Buoys on Highway 13 was worked by Southern Stone County Firefighters with Branson Fire and Mercy Emergency assisting on the scene, no injuries were reported.

Later, a Southern Stone County Fire Vehicle was involved in a traffic crash at Lakeshore Drive. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck pulled out in front of the vehicle. Two people were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of injuries.
