Motorist traveling on Highway 65 Monday night saw smoke and many emergency lights west of the highway as firefighters were fighting a blaze at the Taney County Transfer Station on Buchanan Road.
According to information reported from the Western Taney County Fire District to the Branson Tri-Lakes News, the call to the district came in around 7:20 pm with first responders arriving on the scene discovering trucks and trailers storing trash had got on fire. Reporting on site, Branson Tri-Lakes News Reporter Jason Wert says that no one was injured and no cause of the fire has been determined.
