Fatality Accident Among Those Worked by MSHP

Accidents worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol over the last two days includes one resulting in a fatality.

That accident occurred Friday morning in Barry County southeast of Cassville when a car driven by 41-year-old Bradley Hufford of Seligman drove off Highway F striking a rock bluff and overturning. Hufford was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Two other crashes worked by the MSHP on Friday resulted  in minor to moderate injuries, including an early morning crash in Kirbyville that resulted  in moderate injuries for 47-year-old Michael Garrick of Branson. The patrol also worked an accident Friday morning where a vehicle overturned in Lampe resulting in minor injuries for a teenager from Lead Hill. Another accident involving an overturned vehicle occurred east of Hurley on Saturday night resulted in minor injuries for a teenager from Crane. 

A final accident worked late Saturday night results in serious for a man from Cape Fair. The online crash reports indicates the accident occurred when 39-year-old James Boulton failed to negotiate a curve on the Ozark Mountain Highroad running off the road striking several rocks and trees. Boulton was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
