Several candidates on the Republican Ballot for the Missouri August Primary spoke to a group of voters Thursday night.

Several of the candidates for Missouri U.S. Senate as well as all of the 7th District Congressional Candidates were on hand as well as State Auditor Candidate Scott Fitzpatrick. In addition, all Republican Candidates for County Offices as well as area State Representatives Travis Smith and Brian Seitz attended and addressed the audience.

Many of the local candidates do not have opponents in the general election while others are unopposed in the August 2nd Primary but will have Democratic opposition in the General Election on November 8th.

The event, held at the Branson-Hollister Lions Club Building, was presented by the Taney County Federated Republican Women's Group and also sponsored by the Taney County Republican Central Committee.
