Emergency Personnel Kept Busy on Wednesday

Emergency Person are kept busy in the Lakes Region Wednesday responding to several calls.

The Central Taney County Fire Protection District aided two people that were injured when a tire exploded that they were working on at “The Tire Crew” store near Forsyth. Fire Protection Chief Douglas Bowers tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News that two employees were injured when a tractor tire they were working on exploded Wednesday morning. Both employees were taking to a Springfield Hospital for treatment. 

Branson Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Van Buren Road Wednesday afternoon. Two engine companies put out the fire and no injuries were reported according to a post on the Branson Professional Firefighters Local #152 Facebook page. 

Meanwhile, Silver Dollar City officials confirm to KY-3 in Springfield that an employee was injured after an incident on park Wednesday. Emergency personnel responded and took the employee to a Springfield hospital for treatment. SDC Officials did not specify what the incident was but did say no guests were injured in the incident.
