On Monday, Carroll County Officials posted a burn ban for their county while neighboring Madison County has now also posted a burn ban.
Meanwhile, the Arkansas Forestry Division reports an increased area of moderate fire risk according to its latest map which now includes Lakes Region Counties Marion and Searcy in addition to previously posted Boone and Newton Counties.
Though there is a slight chance of rain on Friday, most areas are forecast to remain dry over the next seven days.
