As the snow began to fall Sunday afternoon in the Lakes Region, people who were traveling in the area found conditions change quickly.

Ozarks First featured some of the issues facing drivers in the downtown Branson area Sunday afternoon, including on the Main Street Hill coming up from the downtown area.

The feature also included an interview with Branson Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Ted Martin, who talked about how his team had to adjust their response time and personnel to calls because of the slick road conditions.

Martin does recommend not traveling if possible but if you must get out, you should take extra bottled water, a phone charger, and an extra stocking cap and gloves. You might want an extra pair of boots just in case you get stuck and have to walk.

The complete feature can be seen on the Ozarks First Website.
