The next phase of the Downtown Branson Streetscape Project is set to begin this week.
According to a release from the city, the project is a continuation of improvements that have already taken place on Commercial Street and other downtown areas. Main Street is the focus of this part of the project with the first phase to be done now through early June will be between Veterans Blvd. and Commercial Street and the second phase from June through October between Commercial and Sycamore Streets.
The release adds that the city has approved a 24-hour work schedule to help get the project done in a timely manner and also reduce congestion during the day. The city will have clearly marked detours during the construction period according to the release which can be found on the City of Branson Website.
