Data Shows Rise in Missouri and Arkansas Drug Overdose Deaths

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and QuoteWizard shows Missouri and Arkansas experienced a rise in overdose deaths.

The CDC’s data shows that Missouri’s previous count of drug overdose deaths went from 2,005 to 2,151. That’s a 7.3% increase. Arkansas saw an increase as well.

The Arkansas 12 month-ending went from 542 to 631; this is a 16.4% change. QuoteWizard also reports data on the topic.

QuoteWizard reports Arkansas overdose deaths in the last year at 629; the deaths increased by 16%. The same website reports Missouri as having a 7% increase with 2,151 overdose deaths.
