Several races have developed in the August Primary for offices in both Taney and Stone Counties.
Races in Taney County include a pair that the incumbent is not running for reelection. For Presiding Commissioner, Nick Plummer, Ken Roten, W. Alex McCaley, and Noah Prahlow are on the Republican Ballot vying to replace Mike Scofield while Shanna Tilley and Stephanie Spencer are looking to replace Donna Neeley as County Clerk.
A race in Stone County is shaping up for Presiding Commissioner between incumbent Mark Maples and challenger Mike Cooper.
The sign-up period for the August Primary Election ends on March 29th.
