The site where the Forsyth Panthers played a football contest over the weekend is involved in a dispute between that city’s government and the school district.
Marionville has been in process of upgrading their school facilities, including a new football field that saw Marionville host Forsyth on Saturday.
According to an Ozarks First report, city officials claim that the district has not complied with inspection schedules and fee payments. The Marionville City Clerk told Ozarks First that the school had outstanding fees and several buildings, including the new locker rooms for the football stadium, have had stop work orders posted on site. The school district has not commented yet about the dispute.
