The return to school and work for many in the region will be a cold one but warmer weather is on the way.
After a front pushed through at the end of the week cooling things down with some rain, the start of the week will follow the weekend pattern of cold temperatures, with highs in the 40s today with lows overnight in the 20s.
Temperatures will begin to rebound on Wednesday with highs back in the 50s and lows for the most part staying above freezing with a chance of rain Thursday.
