The Arkansas State Police reports a one-vehicle accident between Eureka Springs and Holiday Island claims a life.
76-year-old Hazel Jean Daines of Eureka Springs was driving north on Highway 23 when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Daines was taken to Eureka Springs Hospital where she was pronounced dead according to the report.
