A Facebook post by the Highlandville Rural Fire Protection District, indicates the crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 65 near the Green Mound Road/Woods Fork Road intersection when traveling north went off the road in the center median then became airborne and landed at the bottom of the creek.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online report, the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Trevor Salander of Springfield, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
