The month of March is a busy one for the College of the Ozarks Basketball Programs.
This morning around 9:00, the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats leave campus and head to Mitchell, South Dakota where they will play in the NAIA National Tournament. The Lady Bobcats will open regional play on Friday against Eastern Oregon.
Meanwhile, C of O is set to host another national basketball tournament for the second year in a row. The school hosts the National Christian College Athletic Association Tournament with games set for March 18-21. The tournament will feature eight men’s and women’s teams. The C of O Men will be a part of the tournament as will the women unless they win their first two NAIA Games this weekend.
A recent interview on the tournament with C of O Sports Information Director Charlie Pentecost and Tournament Supporter Hailey Fleming can be found on “The Upside with Josh and Them” Facebook Page.
