The marketing partnership between the City of Branson, the Tourism Community Enhancement District, and the Kansas City Chiefs appears to be coming to an end.
A release last week posted by several media outlets indicate that the agreement, originally signed in 2023, is set to expire on May 15 and will not be renewed.
The agreement saw the Branson Lakes Area featured on promotional campaigns with the Chiefs and also including sponsoring the team's Hometown Hero program which honored individuals who served the country as well as hosting the Chiefs Cheer Team for several events.
For the three seasons of the agreement, Branson had signage at Arrowhead Stadium plus had promotional announcements air during the Chiefs Radio Network Football broadcasts which are heard on Legends 1063 Dot FM.
No announcement was made on the reason for the contract being renewed.
