Branson Mayor Talks About Budget, Christmas, Labor, Other Items on "Ozarks Now"

As he approaches his six month in office, Branson Mayor Larry Milton says he continues to stay busy in his role of leading the city.

During an interview Tuesday on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Milton talks about the many hours he has spent in meetings both within the city and with citizens and business leaders. Milton says he stays busy by choice to continue to work on the many projects he wants to see completed.

Milton discusses the process in getting the projected 2022 Budget Shortfall closed while not drastically cutting services and raising fees to the citizens. Milton says the Board of Aldermen will be presented with a proposal for the budget at their regular meeting next Tuesday.

Milton also says he is seeing an increase of people entering the work force over the last month helping businesses increase their staff for the upcoming Holiday Season. Milton also addressed some feedback he has received from the community wanting to return the marketing of the Holiday Season to Ozark Mountain Christmas.
