Branson City Clerk Happy in New Role

A longtime Branson City Employee is happy in her role as City Clerk.

Hillary Brand, who joined the city staff as Deputy City Clerk in 2007, took over the top spot after the retirement of longtime City Clerk Lisa Westfall in February. During an interview this week on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Briand talks about moving to the top spot in the department and she has developed even more of an appreciation for the energy at City Hall working with more of the other City Directors and Administrators. Briand also talked about the functions of her office and its role in the legal functions of the city. 

Briand also discussed the current openings on various boards and committees for the city with that application period closing April 26th. Briand said that the City has vacancies on the Board of Adjustment, Finance Committee, Human Resources Committee, Advisory Park Board, Planning Commission and Industrial Development Authority, Applications can be found online at the City of Branson Website.
