(BRANSON, MO, May 1, 2025) The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce summer youth swim lessons at the Branson AquaPlex, located at 1501 Branson Hills Parkway. A variety of programs are available for ages 18 months to teens, focusing on water safety, swimming development, and the numerous health benefits of swimming.
Swimming is an excellent way for children to remain active and healthy throughout the summer months. Swim lessons provide a well-rounded approach to aquatic education, promoting physical fitness through cardiovascular activity and muscle development. Additionally, these programs teach vital water safety skills and techniques, minimizing the risk of water-related accidents and helping kids feel more secure in and around water.
Parent and Toddler Swim (18 months+) and Parent and Preschool Swim (ages 3-4) introduce water orientation skills. Fee: $45/$40 (RD).
Learn to Swim Levels I-III (ages 5+) progresses from water comfort to stroke development. Fee: $40/$35 (RD).
Junior Lifeguard Training (ages 12-15) provides an introduction to lifeguarding. Fee: $35/$30 (RD).
