A 34-year-old Diamond City man stands accused of 10 counts of rape after he allegedly sexually abused a child for more than 13 years.
David Scott Carrow is jailed in the Boone County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. In addition to the rape charges, Carrow faces four counts of sexual indecency with a child and an incest charge.
The victim reported the rapes to authorities in July. She stated Carrow began abusing her when she was two years old, continuing until this year. According to the affidavit in the case, the victim reported Carrow threatened to “kill her if she said anything to anyone about what they were doing.”
In an interview with authorities in July, Carrow denied the rape allegations. Carrow also allegedly stated “he was a member of the Aryan nation, and would make some phone calls when he was placed back in his cell.”
The affidavit says Carrow told authorities “that he had made hits for the Aryan Nation in the past and they were sex offenders, because he did not do things like that.”
