Bob Smithers and Becky Jewsbury talked about upcoming Veterans' events.
They appeared on KRZK's The Upside with Josh and Them to discuss the Veterans Task Force events. Smithers said Ball Parks of America will host a mess hall from Nov. 5 and 10. This serves Veterans free meals. This will also be an opportunity for Veterans to connect. However, Smithers said this is for everyone.
Smithers said the local community is invited to enjoy the 35 vendors that will be present. Smithers said attendees can even Christmas shop. Veterans organizations will be present. Smithers said Wolf for Vets is another addition this year. Many other vendors are expected. Aside from Veteran's Homecoming Week, more events are approaching.
Jewsbury highlighted Wreaths Across America. That event is on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. Jewsbury said the Rose Petal Ceremony is also on the way. It's on Nov. 9; she said it honors female Veterans.
